CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
The customs clearance has as purpose to observe the accuracy of the data informed by the importer and/or exporter regarding the merchandise shipped thereby, to guarantee the correct presentation of the documents to the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service and Consenting Bodies, as well as the adequacy to the effective legislations, to perform the customs clearance.
The clearance of the load allows the ingress and exit of the merchandise in the National territory.
The start of the service of customs clearance occurs by the presentation of the documents required by the exporter or importer. Having such information in his/her possession, the customs broker carries out the whole assessment of the duties levied in such operation, as well as all administrative/exchange controls inherent to the foreign trade operations.
